I’m super excited to be sharing this money story with you!
Tomi and I met while I was looking for contributors for a finance blog I helped to coordinate a little while back. We connected over mutual friends and is really a kind, gentle soul. He was gracious enough to share his story of how he started gambling at 17, was homeless because of his addiction, and how the kindness of a stranger helped him out of that situation.
I’m happy to say he’s debt free and working towards a hopeful future. I encourage you to listen to the story, and share it with anyone who might have a gambling addiction, or to simply help us spread the mission of removing the stigma surrounding money.
